The long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s ‘Ctrl’ has premiered at #1 on the US Billboard 200 album tally with first-week sales of:
318,000
Streaming fuelled its success, accounting for 309,000 units of the total sum.
The figure was accrued by way of 404.58 million streams of the LP’s 23 tracks.
‘S.O.S” seismic launch sees it make history by delivering the largest EVER opening streams for an R&B album. The development ironically comes after the TDE star stressed that she doesn’t consider herself as an R&B artist.
